Floating pond de-icers keep a hole free of ice allowing toxic gases to escape throughout the winter. Use in medium ponds up to 1,500 gallons, more than 18" deep with a normal or light fish load. Low operating cost. Keeps only a small hole in the ice inside of the unit. Ice will remain along the outside rim of the unit.
