By adapting electronic mineral ionization technology the IonMate® Algae Control System will safely and effectively eliminate algae resulting in less maintenance and providing crystal clear water for ponds and decorative water features. How does the IonMate® System work?

The in-line model IonMate® Ionization Chamber gets installed directly in the pipe plumbing after the pump that supplies water to the waterfall and stream. A safe and controlled low voltage DC current is conducted into the ionization chamber where the two copper probes breakdown through the process of electrolysis slowly releasing copper ions into the water. These copper ions then residually work to control algae providing a clear and clean water feature. The ‘state of the art’ micro processor unit utilizes reverse polarity to help keep the probes from accumulating scale and debris, making them self-cleaning.
