The Pump Sock acts as a pre-filter and adds protection from debris for styles of submersible pumps, also keeps fish from being sucked into the pump intake. The pump sock allows for better water flow and pump cooling, while enhancing the surface area of the intake of a pump, enabling it to gather more debris without decreasing flows.
